pmooney I have some local kayak patches to make it work over SoL. Do you think it would be worthwhile making the interactive installer work over SoL as well? Not sure if there is much of a use case...

You need to have stuff in /boot/config:

-h

-S115200

(or your preferred bps setting)

It's an either/or, so you can't just put it there for VGA consoles.

pmooney Maybe it's supposed to work for 9600bps OOTB but I've never checked it.
